The building is a six storey structure curved in plan providing hotel accommodation. A particular feature was the provision of open plan ground floor space for both retail and commercial use with minimum internal columns.

The structure utilises a steel transfer structure to ground / first floor with lightweight steel framing system providing the structure to the upper floors.  Foundations are piled.

The design and production information was developed to BIM Level 1+.

Construction has now commenced on a second phase to provide extra bedroom accommodation above first floor in the rear area of the building involving new transfer structures and lightweight steel construction above.
